Special Shabbat Programs

We have three special weekend programs every year, usually starting on Friday night and running through Saturday evening/Sunday morning. The topics vary widely and all highlight the vibrancy and relevance of Judaism in our modern world:

14th Annual Dr. Julius & Ethel Mintz Scholar-in Residence Shabbaton, Nov. 22-23, 2019

Sandor & Suzanne Gross Memorial Cantorial Shabbaton – With the generous support of the Gross and Harrison families, we bring well-known cantors to the Temple for a weekend celebration of cantorial and Jewish music. Check back for the name of our guest Hazzan for our Feb. 21-22, 2020 Cantorial Shabbaton.

Congregation Anshe Emeth Legacy Shabbat – Made possible by a special fund established to honor the name, history, and members of Congregation Anshe Emeth, this springtime weekend program brings a variety of Jewish educational programs to the Temple. We will post the topics and dates when the schedule is finalized.
