Experimental In-Person Evening Services

We will have our first experimental in-person evening services in the sanctuary:

Tuesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 25
7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
These services will also be streamed on Zoom.

Services Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday evenings that week will be on Zoom only, 7:30 p.m.  Services Friday evening (Kabbalat Shabbat) will remain on Zoom  at 6:30 p.m.

All morning services will remain on Zoom.

We will evaluate these initial gatherings and announce further plans, especially with regards to Shabbat, at the appropriate time. For now, there are no in-person Shabbat services.

TEMPORARY ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES FOR RE-OPENING:
Following NJ Executive Order and CDC guidelines as well as what we believe can be accommodated at HPCT-CAE:

Attendance is limited to 25 persons and will be by registration only. If you are not registered you may not attend.

    1. Register via “SignUpGenius
      • Please only sign-up if you plan on attending. We will need a MINYAN IN THE SHUL to hold the evening service.
    2. If you are experiencing any symptoms, please do not attend:
      • Cough, fever, chills, muscle pain, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell
    3. If you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive within the last 14 days, please do not attend.
    4. If you are in an “at-risk” category, we advise you to participate via Zoom:
      • People aged 65 years and older;
      • Anyone with
        • underlying medical conditions, such as chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma, serious heart conditions, immunocompromised
        • severe obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 40 or higher)
        • diabetes, chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis, liver disease
    5. Hands are to be sanitized upon entry and exit of the building.
    6. Masks must be worn at all times in the building. Please bring your own mask.
    7. Seating will be in designated seats only.
    8. Once services are completed, we will exit the building with proper social distancing and no congregating.
    9. You must bring your own prayer books and kippot.
    10. Bathrooms and drinking fountains will not be available.
